-------
I found London is such a natural environment city especially bank-side landscape seem a frame of artwork as fantastic and dreamy natural image to me. Artwork transformed famous London landmarks to natural elements and those elements are combined together to create a frame of scene like artwork itself.

i, I, I, I, I

{ i, I, I, I, I }

“I”. A “portrait” of myself. What do I see when I stand in front of a mirror? How do I see myself? How do others see me? What image would best represent me? What image would best represent my personal, social or political identity and my inspirations?

The [i] that I see myself, the [I] people sees me, the [I] that I want to be, the [I] people expecting me, the [I] I don’t want to be and so on.
All different [I] is representing me. It is often represented as many identities in terms of role at work and home and sudden circumstance.

I tried to describe difference myself [I] as simplest and strong way using five types of letter [i, I, I, I, I] that has different purpose.

Connecting Passion for various Music and Life
The music, maybe passion in other words, enables the listeners to even change profoundly their own atmosphere at the present moment, as well as permeating into their heart and communicate with them the minute they access the music at any place irrespective of who they are. The enthusiasm of others and musicians transforms into their own creative inspiration, together with their own enthusiasm.

What Alice found there?

What Alice found there?

Lewis Carroll's story has the elements of text-based description of circumstance -although John Tunnel's illustration is fantastic- confrontation of distinctive characters, pun using similar pronunciation, concrete poet, wonderland that is called dream, reversion of the mirror world that is only possible in the mirror world etc.

I wanted to construct the environment where users can reinterpret Lewis Carroll's story, which has those elements that made his story impossible to be interpreted in the reign of Queen Victoria without media of dream and mirror, by adopting the form of interactive game.

What Alice found there?

Interactive game
She met him - It was when she met him for the first time. When she went up round stairs made with books, she stood along in somber space with a little satisfied smile-with smell of dust from humid books. She stood in abnormal space that was neither a library nor a storehouse where windows, library and sofa were made with books like a picture as being a part of that scene....

What the mirror showed was the hill with several roads. the guide-boards on several reads had unusual meanings. The first one told 'House with Long Ear', the second one 'Where He Lives' and third one 'Answer for what you try yo find'. As carefully looking, she realised that all of meant one thing.....

She found a little house in the middle of the hill. She looked around the house. But he already left and she found only that his name was Karma. Suddenly she became scared as thinking that she couldn't go back home. Then, she took a rest for a while and had dry food....

It While she went down the hill, she talked with several shadows including her shadow. She didn't know who they were, but she had hopeful answer from them that she could find him called Karma with big ears when she went up the southern stairs....

APT

APT- imagination of monotonous life, Jul 2004
This sight is the scene that I looked down street from the window of my room and at the same time, it is extravagant imagination for my monotonous everyday life and surroundings. The scenery that comes into view from same position presents various and different pictures as times go by. This work is the consecutive images for about 2 minutes, which was expanded according to my imagination. The things in the scenery present each essential part of the sound and the part of the sound expresses the things in the scenery.

Alice in wonderland

Alice in wonderland, Aug 2004
'Alice in wonderland' is based on a true story of 'Lewis Carrol' but then now the story setting has changed to the digital. Vector illustration is used to show the image of 'Alice's adventures in wonderland', and it describes her meeting the white rabbit to the way through the maze.
"Where is the wonderland?"
"How did these strange things happen?"
"What adventure awaits me?"
